Orion Township Barn Daze - a bit windy this year limiting the flying, but still a good time introducing 'kids of all ages' to our hobby in Friendship Park.

Our meetings continue for 2006 - with a AMA Cub Challenge, a return visit from Hobby Lobby, and a presentation from the Greater Detroit Soaring and Hiking Society.

Our annual Christmas Party takes the place of our December meeting. Santa made a special visit with prizes for the kids... and a few lucky pilots went home with an early Christmas gift. And of course there was food!

Mother Nature wasn't kind this year - not much flying, but still a lot of crazy... I mean dedicated pilots came out to join the fun. Plenty of chili for all to keep warm!
